383 stroker

whats up guys, im building a 383 and got some questions.. ok here we go i got a 70's 350 block and going for a 383 stroker. first off i am wondering if the kit i am using will be good compression with the heads im looking at. here is the kit it is the part number is #SBC1 http://www.gofaststuff.com/kits.html. and heres the heads http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories I have already had the block tanked, pressure tested and had the jornals checked. I geuss the main caps are really strong because it was a truck block. but they said for it to clean up they will have to go .40 over. but im just wondering if im on the right track so far parts wise. any hep is great thanks.

Of course, you've already had the block clearanced. riiiight?

But, which crank are you looking at for your stroker? There are multiple listings on that page.

He's not a shop...just an old engine builder that is constantly asked about similar questions. Look around his site...there is TONS of good info there. And the specific link I posted is a forum full of different engine builds, right down to the part numbers.
