Not as noticeable as the car in the video. Drop the idle rpm a little to get more lope if it's important to you.

The Lunati #60105 is not a bad cam, but won't have that much lope in a 383 like it will in a 350, and not even all that much lope in a 350. Not big enough if you want extreme lope.

Remember that when you look at descriptions of cam "behavior" in a catalog or at a web site, those descriptions are for the most common engine in that engine series. For example, BBC is 454, SBC is 350, SBF is 302, SB Chrysler is 360, Pontiac is 400, and so on. In the SBC example, the bigger cubes of the 383 will make any given cam sound and act smaller than it will in a 350, and vice versa, a medium cam in a 350 will sound like a monster in a 305

If you want lope in a hydraulic flat tappet from Lunati - Street/Strip hydraulic #301B5LUN, or Drag Race hydraulic #30117, or 30119.
