383 Stroker Kit

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if I could get some opinions on the value and quality of this kit I found on the net. Its alot cheaper than kit I have priced put around here.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=46098

Any opinions on this kit would be greatly appreciated. This kit is for my 350 gen 1 block i have for my 89 extcab s10.
thanks

Summit has this priced at $945.95 should be safe, I'm curious how this guy can be that much lower than summit though?

Not that much lower. Just because it's on summit doesn't mean it is the cheapest thing out there. Go to this PLACE

There is the same kit with flat tops pre balanced for $799.

As it holds true "You get what you pay for" but that doesn't mean an arm and a leg.
I think you would be safe with that kind of kit where you buy it from is up to you. Contact CnC they gave great tech support and im sure would help you out with what ever you would need.

His feedback tends to say alot about him as a seller. 99.7% with over 4700 transactions seems pretty good to me.

Besides where I buy it from... is this a good kit for the price? around 800?? what is a good compresing ratio.. i was goin to run pump gas and was thinking geting somewhere around 10-1?? is this a good estimate?
My s10 is going to be a weekend cruiser with an occasional trip to the strip.
What kind of horse power would u think could be made running like this kit in my block bored .40 over. stock or slighty modied 350 heads, edelbrock rmp intake and holley 750 carb. Also i had a question about heads?? what can you do to stock 350 heads to allow more airflow?? what do u suggest doing??

thanks

Looks like pretty much the same kit. Check the Ebay sellers feedback, The only negatives are because Paypal won't do foreign countrys and a shipping damage claim. His products get raves from customers..
