If it was me and this is just my opnion-I would buy elsewhere. I don't have a problem with the parts but I do the have a problem with the seller. Nowhere does it say anything about the rods. What I mean is, what length and virtually no info on the pistons. He spends way too much time talking up the gaskets and the history of EngineTechs bearings. No real data on the rings either. Too many missing variables for me to recommend him.I realize you can ask but you shouldn't have to. Try Competition Products, Speedway,Summit, Jegs, etc. JMHO

The rods are not included in the first kit. "EAGLE crankshaft external balance, gasket set, hypereutectic coated skirt pistons, moly rings, rod and main bearings, cam bearings, double roller heavy duty timing chain set, freeze plugs, high volume oil pump and your choice of performance camshaft and lifters."

The seller hasn't had enough transactions yet, and not one single sale of the kit that's linked to. The Eagle crank is the ONLY brand mentioned. I suppose the pistons, cam, lifters, timing set, etc. are all "Enginetech" brand- offshore, no doubt.

HERE they sell a "Enginetech" Master Rebuild kit (no idea if it's the same Enginetech or not) w/the same parts as is listed in the first link, for $415.31. Minus the Eagle crank, which can be bought for about $165.00 from Summit. You do the math...

As for the second place selling the "PBM" crank, etc., seems you can get it for the same price straight from the horse's mouth- http://www.pbmperformance.com/faq.php, although I didn't see exactly what the kit at PBM included. I'm guessing the same as the linked-to ebay'er, though.

If I were going to buy an engine kit, it would be from a well known, large volume distributor.
