Hey guys. This is Hazard once again with another question on my 383 stroker project. I finally found a machine shop and my next step is to purchase my stroker kit. I have looked around and checked out prices on individual parts as well as complete stroker kits. What do you all recommend when buying the rotating assembly? I don't want to spend on fancy parts or just throw away my money. I'm now debating if I should purchase a stroker kit that is sold on ebay or just buy item by item. I don't want the engine for drag racing. The home of this engine will be in an 89 chevy regular cab that I'm restoring inside out. Going to be a weekend truck. I know this is one of the cheap kits, but how decent are this kits? Here goes the link for one of the kits I ran into on ebay.
Also, if the kit comes with flex plate and dampner, would the balancing be reliable? Would hate to rebalance if not necessary.
