389 in a 1970 Lemans Sport?

As I mentioned in my introduction, my daughter her motor up in her 1970 Lemans Sport. Now that she owns it, she has to buy a new motor for herself. My question is, will a 389 bolt directly into her car ( she has a 350 in it now). Are the exhaust manifolds compatible, tranny compatible, pretty much I need to make sure all will bolt up. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Wanted to post pictures, but couldn't figure it out. Can anyone help.

Mark

If the 389 is a '65 or '66, it will bolt right in. The "D" port exhaust manifolds and the tranny will also bolt up. The pre '65 blocks used starters that bolted to the bell housing. Although the '64s had the provision for block mounted starters, they used the bellhousing mount.
