39 40 ford car fenders are they the same as 40 pickup
Are 1939 1940 ford car fenders the same as 1940 ford pickup fenders . And if they are can i use the 39 deluxe grille . As i want the whole front sheet metal to be 1939 deluxe . Grille and head lights . I know the hood is different but i can rework either a sedan hood or a pickup hood . any help would be appreciated .

We are talking about the front fenders Dan, I had to call my brother as I had forgotten if they are the same or not. He had a 39 coupe and tells me that the pickup fenders are most certainly different where they bolt to the cowl being totally different. On the 39 Deluxe and 40 fenders being the same, he is pretty sure as he remembers. The 39 Standard being totally different of course.
