39 to 47 Dodge/ Plymouth Pickup truck T5 adaptation

I'm considering installing a T5 trans. out of a S-10 into my 39 Plymouth Pickup to make it more road worthy. I'm keeping the flat head 6. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with such a project?
