I would ''never'' do it..
The work it will take, and will ''never'' look right under it, isn't worth it.. People don't realize how much easies it is to just build a new frame.. I'm sure it can be done, But like I said ...it would stick out like a sore thumb.. don't do it.. Thats what I would say.. Build one.. are up date the one you have, Are put a clip in it..
