'39 chevy headlight conversion?

I was looking at the Hagan frenched headlight conversion kit for the '39.
These were $135 about a month ago. Today when I went to order they were $165. Does anyone know of another manufacture for these or know where I can pickup a used pair of buckets from a '40 chevy or '46 chevy?

If anyone knew where I could find '40 chevy buckets that would work for me.

When I need something for one of my 32's.........I can usually find it in Hemmings Motor News or one of the vendors who advertise in it....

$30 increase is NOT that bad........the price of metal and fuel has increased significantly.....

Raw steel has tripled..

I have a 39 also. How are you going to handle the frenched headlights inside the fender?

I think I'm going to try to find a set of "doors" and actuators like a 68 RallySport and have hideaways where the grilles in the lower fender.

re: '39 chevy headlight conversion?

No I was thinking of leaving them in the buckets, but they have a kit that makes them looked frenched.

I found some '40 buckets and I think I will use them.
