I haven't done one, however, here are a couple engines in a couple 39 Dodges on line, I didn't find any big blocks, I'll keep looking:
350 TPI V8 w/4L60 Auto w/ overdrive, 350 V8 (crate engine) 300 Hp, Automatic (turbo 350), Front disc brakes, Congratulations on getting a rod! Dutch |

I have a 1940 Plymouth that had a 440 in it for years, it fit with room to spare.
I know of a local guy with a 1939 with a 392 Hemi, and there is a 426 style Hemi in a 1939 Plymouth Coupe in Washington state that makes many of the runs, I would think just about ANY engine would fit, if placed well? A 340/360 would be a cinch? |
