39 Flatty Taken' a Dive

Hi Guys/Gals - a newbe here. I have a 39 Ford all stock except for a full race flathead and duals. I'd like to get the nose a tad lower and think a forged steel 2" dropped axle would be the way to go. The only thing I've found is a Super Bell aluminum unit. Any suggestions on who may manufacture a steel forged unit ?? Also - if a dropped unit is added - do I need to change any other steering components for clearance?

drop axle

when an original is heated and dropped you usually had to heat and bend the steering arms. now most new ones have the propper clearance designed in unless you don't have stock steering arms

Chassis Engineering in Iowa has the axle you're looking for to install in your 39 DeLujo. They will have all the necessary pieces to do the steering thing too.
