39 pontiac steering box very LOOSE, worn out

I own a 39 silver streak. No adjustment left in steering box. Steering seems sloppy.(just bought the car 4 weeks ago)
Is there another fix, and if not, will a steering box from a 39 chevy fit?
Any ifor on this car is appreciated.

Dont worry how old you are... it is the mileage on your body that adds up.
