I have a truck with a 1972 390fe 2bbl truck engine, what is different form the car engines. If you could tell what is the rpm range, compression and hp, tq that would be nice.
'72-'76 2-bbl 201 hp.
1972 was the first year for smog motors. Static compression ratio was in the toilet and retarded camshaft drive sprockets were used to help the motors pass smog. The Arabs had an oil embargo going and the only fuel available was cat-pi** unleaded. Been there, done that.
