I tend to agree with 454C10, if it ran great before the upgrade I'd put it back to that. Then look arround for another cheap carby, rebuild it at your leisure and then wack it on when it's ready. That way you've got a spare !

i did same change but put a 750 hp main body on 4779 750dp.it also ran good but now has low stumble also.i dont have power valves and ran 81 and 86 jets before.left everything the same as place to work from.now it flows more air and doesnt work same.car craft did this also recently and they reduced high flow air bleeds to .026 which makes it fatter and helped fix it.my main body kit came with 72 and 84 jets for holleys suggest starting point with power valve.i cant tune right now because it is to cold have to wait till it warms up.but it should work better when get lined out.
