I was wondering if a 4.3 injector would work on a 5.7 b/c my buddy is needing one for his truck and they look alike but i am not sure if the injector would produce enough fuel for the bigger engine or if the computer would compensate for the needed fuel. if it was an OBDII vehicle i think it would b/c the computer controls alot more things. but i am not sure so i was hoping some one on here might know THanks
That would be a bad idea 5.7 and 4.3 are not the same. Dont do it.
If you can afford them use the GM part. They have a better spray pattern than the aftermarket ones. Better atomization will give you better mileage, idle, and power too.
The 4.3, 5.0, 5.7 injectors are all different fuel delivery... A set of 5.0 injectors will work on a 5.7 but just barely... But a set of 4.3`s would only idle and not to well... Also as stated us the GM parts on this only...
