Post 4 on 4 1/4 wheels

Hea, i am looking for a set of wide 4 on 4 1/4 (FORD) wheels for my wife`s Harley trike project. I would like to find some that would support 10" wide tires. Any Ideas? The guy at Les Swab say`s they can`t get them that wide? That sounds fishy to me!!!

Slider what style and price range are you looking for? When I built a trike for a bro upstate we went to a few lowrider and custom shops and bought two wire wheels that were 15x10's with a few bent spokes for next to nothing and sent them to get repaired for $80. 15x10 wires are hard to find, but there are a bunch of other wheels you could get and repair or maby some old display window wheels. Ask around, you'd be suprised what people have in the back room. They also make adapters so if you find some nice cheap wheels that you want that arn't the right bolt pattern get a pair of adapters made or buy'em.
