4 doors to 2

I have a 72 Torino Wagon. I would like to create a sedan delivery out of it using the longer 2 door Torino doors. I know it's not an easy job but would the best way to go about it be using the Rocker area and B pillar/ door jamb of the 2 door Torino?

Has anyone ever moved the rocker and door jamb/ B pillar to another car like that?

If you have a parts car sitting there to use, it is definately doable. If the rear doorskins of the SW are in good shape, you could use them to complete the body from the "B" pillar and keeping the original body lines. It will require some kind of reinforcing back behind it. Moving the pillars from a 2 door to a SW will likely require some modifications, because of the roof line differences. I would study the rockers on both cars real good before removing the pillars. You may not have to really do much with the rockers. Just make sure that you get alot of measurements.

Dare to be different, Eh??
Cool idea--I hope you can pull it off.
Not sure when Ford quit building Deliveries
Chevy did it 'til 69 or 70----only built 7 in the last year.
Be cool to see a Phantom Car.
