i have a 1969 chevy pickemup, and both the thread on the visors dry rotted, and they came apart were the seam is, i was wondering would it be hard to sew them back together i have all the opeices, it was just the thread came loose and rotted.

Not a problem at all. If it is made out of a thicker material, like a masonite, you would need an industrial machine and a bigger needle, but it wouldn't be a problem at all. The visors in newer vehicles, are made out of a paper thin cardboard (unless they have the mirrors and lights, then they are usually plastic), with a masonite piece glued inbetween. But when they are sewn, you are only sewing through the thin carboard. If this was the case, any household machine should do the trick.
