Post 4-link suspension

Hi,
I too am new to this site.
I have a 1941 Chevy Bus Coupe. I was thinking of putting in a Chevy 383 @ 450HP, 700R Transmision and a Ford 9" Tru-locker 3.73 gears. I have a bolt on leaf spring kit already.
Question: Do I need to upgrade the rearend 9" housing and/or suspension?

Cool re: 4-link suspension

yea the ol chev haz a torque tube rear end. yard it out and sell it off on e-bay to the restorers for big bucks yea 9" fomoco or 8"? lincoln with disc brakes would be good choices.

4 link rear on air bags would give good ride combined with ability to plant de tires on launching petal to de metal from a stoplite

leaf spring rear syspension /traction bars /good shocks is going to be the cheepest way unless you get fancy and spendy like vett or jag irs
