4 speed muncie???

i think i have a 4 speed transmission. but i dont know how to tell. it looks to be the right length. also the casing is all aluminum, can anyone tell me what i have and or what kind of car possibly used an aluminum 4speed. and did muncies come aluminum? thanx

I know that Borg Warner super T-10's were aluminum and at least 1 other GM trans was also.

well from the chart i think i got a super t-10 on my hands. are these good trannys? and what kind of cars used them??

Super T-10 is probably the best of the bunch when it comes to GM bolt in transmissions. ALL automotive 4-spd Muncies are aluminum

correction it is a muncie 4 speed. i double checked the side cover bolt patern.cna someone thell how to decode this tranny to see what it came out of or what year?
