Post 4-Speed Saginaw Transmission rebuild

Does anyone have a link to a site that explains the gearing of saginaw transmissions and how to rebuild them?
I'm planning on during this work maybe in my college dorm room.

Also will the saginaw tranny be able to withstand a stock Chevy 4 bolt main 350 that is in a 1986 Mazda B2000 extend cab. I realize this may not be a import forum but you use what vehicle you have. Plus the engine and tranny will be swap out to a muscle car in about 2 years. Plus the experience gained was awesome.

You are going to have to find the appropriate CHEV shop manual for the information.
