40 Ford truck/car hood hinges
Howdy fellow Rodders
I'm trying to fit stock '40 Ford truck hood hinges to my '45 Ford truck. I have the remnants of the original '45 hinges but they differ from the stock '40 hinges I bought on E-Bay. I suppose it's possible that the hinges I bought are from a '40 car but I'm not sure. I'm hoping that some one can post some detailed pictures of some mounted, functioning hood hinges from a '40 Ford truck and a car so I might have a clearer idea what I have and how I might mount them. Thanks

Isn't a 194 Ford the "same" as a 46-47 Ford truck? Those and a 1940 are two different animals. Why don't you look for the 46-47 hinges?
