Hi,
I have restored the brakes on my -48 Dodge witch is similar to Plymouth. Some of the brake parts are "standard" -like main and wheel-cylinder "inside-gasket" (i don't no the right word) and was found here in Sweden!! Other hard to find parts I found at Ebay also other parts were found there. Good Luck |
Andy Bernbaum should have any brake parts that you need

If 39Hemi's source doesn't pan out, or you just want to compare prices, you could try Ply-do, I know they do brake conversions for old plymouths, but alot of times those guys have good sources for the stock stuff.

You don't say in particular what you can't find. Are you looking for shoes, cylinders, hoses? In most cases you can go back to your jobber with your old shoes and have him send them back to the remanufacturer for new shoes (linings) to be installed on your cores. Kits are available to repair your wheel cylinders. Hoses can be compared and fitted to those a jobber has in stock, plus or minus an inch or a bend.
Try using someone other then a "chain" auto parts store, a good independent will help you out over the long run. |
