40 Plymouth Buisness Coupe Frame help

Hello All
I have a 40 Buisness Coupe that is sitting on a butchered frame..The P/0 actually took a diplomat frt and cut the frt offthe orig frame and welded the two on top of each other.!!! So I need ideas on what kind of full frame auto would fit the bill..Or should I try and correct the madness..Cut apart butt weld togeather and box the repair
Thanks for the help

You won't find a frame that will be an easy swap. It can be done though. Some have done it using S-10 frames. I have also heard of the front frame clip from a Volare being used. I would say that you may be better off repairing what you have. I suggest posting some picture of the frame where it is joined and you can get advice from more of the members.

diplomat front stub has been used in hotrods, so it might just pay to fix what you have
