400 block with 350 heads?
i was 'thinking' about going with a 406 this time but i want to use my dart platinum 200cc heads. will they work? ive heard something about steam holes. i dont know whats required or if they'll work. also, ive been looking at strokers. ive heard about using 6'' rods. does that make a 395 stroker?? cant find a 395 short block anywhere...

You will have to drill the heads for a match of the steam holes of the 400 block other than that they will work as for running a .30 400 you will get a 406 the rod lenght will not change you displacement in the way of cubes although a 6" rod is a good idea you will have to notch the block for clearance ina few places but a good choise for increasing torque
