400 sb

I would like to build a destroked 400 sb. I have most of the parts except the 400 block that someone else needed more than I do. My block mysteriously disappeared from my 'friend's' garage. ****************

Makes no sense at all, unless you are trying to fit into a lbs per cubic inch class.

I dont like stroked out blocks. they make more tq but the block takes too much punishment over the long haul. I prefer to build short stroke, big bore, high rpm, high hp, longer lasting engines for the street.

Welp certainly to each his own. We`ve tried`em all.
350, 372, 383. None came close to the 400.
