Good luck, since GM only made them 10 years, they are scarce anymore. Aftermarket will be your best bet.

I've found four of them in the last 6 months. Look in the fullsize chebby's and 3/4 ton trucks. Between '70 and '80. I found one in a dumptruck.
If you lucky the jyd owner doesn't know the difference between a 307 and a 400. If the cat knows what it is then he'll be keeping it, idiots think they are made of gold now. Larry

Call all of the local machine shops. There was one less than a quarter mile from where I live that had the block I bought. I got it for $200. Just make sure you bring an inside micrometer when you go shopping for blocks. Make sure it is was they say it is.
