It's a Back half car with a 4-link.468 CI 14 to 1 compression. 400 trans with a 5500 converter. 1050 carb. Camshaft is 715 lift. Car has went 9.89 best so far with a conservative tune. There's a little left if I really wanted to push it.

So comparing the 2 is apples to oranges.

That's a real race car. Not even close to what the op wants. What's he trying to prove by comparing your car to the op's?

no, it was a fishing trip.If a guy can build a 9 second street car he has credibility. I can discuss things on a higher level with a guy that goes 9s than a guy thats never used a roller camshaft ever.

What the hell are you talking about!? You've been on here less than a month and in that small amount of time you've done nothing but correct and argue with everyone. Who the hell do you think you are? Every single person who has responded to this thread has disagreed with you. You're really starting to piss me and a bunch of other people off. So how about you go get your **** straight for a while and come back when youre ready to act like a grown up.

When you get it all done take it to a test and tune and spend the afternoon making runs and have fun. You dont have to run fast to have a good time.
