400 sbc hp numbers

Hi I'm new to the site looking for some insight.
I'm building a 400 small block chevy. And was wondering if anyone could tell what kinda power I should end up with. Its a 2bolt 400 punched .030 with trw forged pistons, 350 76cc heads with drilled steam holes and gasket matched to intake and header gaskets, stock rods, stock 400 crank with rod and main journals turned at .030, edelbrock performer intake gasket matched, edelbrock performer 600 crm carb(soon to be holley 750), comp cam that specs at 218int/218exh duration @ .050 and .454int/.454exh at .050 lift, over the counter fuel pump, long tube headers, flex lite fan, stock ignition, pete jackson gear drive timing set, and 2000 stall converter. My machinist said around 400 horsepower and 450+ tq. Can anyone confirm that? Any help will be greatly appreciatedm

estimated compression with those pistons??
I bet you can run just fine with that 600 carb, unless you plan on racing a lot....but it doesnt seem that way with that buildsheet

Probably 9.75-10:1. I forgot to put they are flat tops. Its going to be my daily driver slash weekend mudbogger. I got a set of bare casting world products sportsman2 in the machine shop. But those aren't going on til I get the 377 destroker crank and the other pistons to run with the destroke set up.

With 7cc valve reliefs, 9.7:1 SCR. You'll need more cam.

with the large combustion chambers that will bring your compression down, but, ultimatly you dont have a very good set of heads for max cfm at max lift, and your cam has a very low duration at .050, the one guy is somewhat right with you wont need a 750cfm carb your not running enough rpm for that, your redline will be around 4800-5200 you should acutally look into a 650 carb, your rpm and fuel demands wont require that, and your heads were origainally made for low out-put smog motors, the sportsman2 heads are very nice, my hp and tq EST.=310-330hp and 375-400tq, what are you putting this in, if you running a 4x4 i wouldn't put a 2k stall, just use the stock converter, your cam most certainly doesn't need a higher stall, don't be all that disapointed in what i told you, low 300hp and hi-3 to 400tq in a 4x4 is nastier than you think especially for muddin' think about todays trucks, my gmc 2500hd has the 6.0 and is rated around the same hp/tq# and let me tell you with the 4.10's in the rear, you put in in 4-HI and she's nasty, and 4-LOW is well ive never used that/ never had to, you will be happy

I just pulled a 383 stroker out coz it didn't have enough. It was dynoed @ almost 400 horsepower can't remember what the tq was. But I'm basing my build on 64cc sportsman2s. I think that's what they are. I'm just using the old iron head til they get done. They stall converter was in the truck when I got it. I kinda like esp with the shift kit in the th400. I'm running 456 gear. It crawls in the woods. And don't do bad on the hiway unbelievably

I'm not going to be running the iron heads for long. Then ill be putting the 64cc sportsmans 2s on. I like the stall converter. Seems like it always in the power. My 4lo is unimaginable with 456s. Once I put the other heads on ill have all the compression I can handle. As it is what I got in the motor money wise I'd be happy with those numbers. When I get the heads done ill have more in them than the rest of the motor

What springs will I need with that cam. Coz I don't think that my iron heads will like that much lift. But that could be an easy fix.

That's why I linked the cam card. Everything you need is on it.
