Post 400 sbc Overbore

I found a 400 sbc for a great price - all machine work done, but it's 0.060 over. I realize that 400s tend to run hot, but I'm planning on using an aluminum radiator with plenty of capacity to keep it cool. I'm not going to make this any kind of a race motor, but it will be more than a stocker. Any experience out there with the 400 taken out that far?

I would be very careful of someone who would spend the money to bore and hone a 400 block and then decide to sell it cheap.

I have ran mine punched 60 over for
two years in me dirt track car without any problems.
And it has been abused and over heated more then once
I may have gotten lucky but I will be running it again this year
Just my experience and opinion.

i would reccomend a pass on that one... find one that hasn't had any machining done... even if you have to pay a bit more for it... it will save you from sleeving it and getting cracks repaired
