Red face 400 turbo to 350 turbo problems

everyone told me the 350 turbo would bolt right up where the 400 came out, well thats fine for the motor, but, tailpiece, kickdown, shifter cable, transmission mount, lines, do not match. its a c3 vette, my question is, does anyone sell a kit for this , or do i just keep fabricating parts.thanks guys for any help or direction. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

why would take out a 400 from a vett??? sounds like a mistake but all parts except cooler line should still be chevy dealer stock parts or can be ordered corvett good car for chevy parts to be replaced .shifter cable should be the same bracket
you spend more money to install 350 in the car you could have 400 rebuilt

the shifter bracket is the same but the holes are out by 1 1/2 inches.the 400 was old and sluggish and needed a rebuild.i bought the 350 turbo with a fresh rebuild by the tranny guy at the local g.m. dealer, also has a shift kit, this was less than the parts for the 400. it cost me 350.$ cdn.
i gathered from all the threads i read here, that the 400 turbo is an all round better tranny but.. it holds in gear longer at top end, wich is just rev. no go, also the 400 is heavier and uses more h.p. to run.yes it is bulletproof , but, with less than 400 h.p.and only 3400 lbs. do you think i really need it??? mike
