400 turbo short vs. long

as 400 short shafts are becoming harder to get, what are the pros and cons to running a long shaft in a performance car.
example, a 3klb car with a 4.56 with a 500 plus hp engine?

NONE..............either way..........

They are the same except for the tail housing and shaft.

I have a 400 Long in my Deuce...........

The drive shaft is 4.5 inches shorter than IF I had a short 400.

For me the 400 Long shaft WAS a advantage because a stock 88 Corvette aluminum drive shaft would fit with NO modifications.

Saved me $$$ and weight.
Total weight and unsprung weight .
