403 Olds
I recently had a 403 Olds given to me. For 30 years, I have had nothing but Chevy motors, well and one Flathead V8, and I know nothing about these motors or their potential. It will be going in my 56 Panel truck. Anyone have any tips???

The intake on these has the carb setting real low. This was to clear the hood on toranados. So unless it already has an aftermarket intake you need to get one for max power.

That is good to know. I have enough room in my panel for a Tunnel ram!!!! This engine came out of a 77 Buick Wagon. It has a funky crossover exhaust manifold set up on it. I also need to find a set of Headers or dual exhaust manifolds.
