get your heads on a flow bench.2 reasons.if the flow numbers are good then you know your horse power potential,therefore easier to pick the matching parts,second reason,lots of heads are weak on the exhaust side, so they need porting on the exhaust side or you can compensate slightly with a split duration cam.

If you dont measure the flow and build the engine,later if you are not happy,you have no information to work with.That car will dip into the 11s with those heads stock out of the box.The quality job you do depends on the details you look after,,,,have fun with that car.I worked on a friends monte carlo and we made it go 14.1s with a near stock 400 and 2.73 gears. It also got decent mileage.
