41 chevy help

Any idea how I can install a 350 in my 41 coupe without updating the stock suspension. I know I need shocks and bushings, but dont want to put the money into a Mustang or Nova Subframe right now. Will the 41 independent hold up for short runs in town? Also how would I mount it when the 41 crossmember is so far forward?
Thanks
Pat

I can't help you with the engine mounts but I can tell you that your stock front suspension will be just fine if completely rebuilt and aligned. A very good friend has a 39 Buick with a rebuilt stock suspension and lowered spindels and the car drives and handles like a new car.
Good Luck,
Bob Warfield

Chassis Engineering makes motor mounts and transmission mounts to adapt the SBC to your Chevrolet.
