WELCOME to Hotrodders.com

Never having owned a big Ford truck I do not have the answer to your question, but a lot of public libraries have spec sheets and books with that type of information. That is where I would start looking.

Tell us a little bit more about what you are trying to do and MAYBE we can help

Again WELCOME ...

'41 ford, 1 ton, spindle to spindle measurement

hey thanks for the response. i found another similar truck in town and measured it, 48 1/2" spindle to spindle, 58 1/2" center to center of tire tread.

the project is a rat rod, stakebed truck which is sitting on a '92 ford van chassis with a 300 inline six cylinder. the cab has been lengthened 6" channeled over the frame and modified to be a convertible. we are creating our own duvall windshield

based upon finding the measurements we have decided to replace the twin ibeams with a dropped tube axle, 4 bars and disc brakes, from speedway motors.

the truck will be our town runner and it will have a tilt bed to carry our '56 cushman truckster scooter to local, state car shows.

thanks for responding.

i plan to post the project in a couple of weeks, with some pictures.
