41 Plymouth front brakes

I am resurecting a bone stock 4dr sedan with a flat head six. Everything I have got working again,(even the gas guage), but the brakes. It has the old Lockheed style drum brake set up that is just way out of spec. and in my opinion, not a good design. Looking to put disc brakes on front and update the rears as well. Any sugestions?

Try Rusty Hope he sells a basically bolt on kit. Only thing required other than simply bolting parts on is to drill the 3 Spindle mounting holes larger and tap them. Then just start bolting stuff on.

Uses Mopar rotors with S10 / Camaro etc. calipers and pads.

I have this setup on my 48 Plymouth coupe and it works great.

I've got Rusty Hope's kit on my 1948 Plymouth also. Very happy with it so far. Used a 8 3/4" rear from a 1969 Roadrunner in mine. Just had to relocate the spring perches, and make up new mounting plates because the axle tube diameter was larger on the RR rear. Not sure if the width of your 41 is the same as the 48.
