41 pontiac frame change

I have a 41 Pontiac and thinking about a frame swap , which is closer to original fame size ,A S10 or full size truck frame ? I have a 80s full size on hand.
I also thought about a nova front sub frame , but hacking a frame in half and re welding it kinda i don't know ? Anyway what i shooting for is a classic car with new suspension , brakes rear end and other parts that can be easily replaced at a car parts store.

GM vehicles of that vintage had "top hat" style frames which are very strong and they are easily capable of supporting big block power in stock form. So, unless your frame is extremely pitted and rusted through there's really no reason to replace it.

It is much less work to add an aftermarket front suspension and a new set of rear springs with an upgraded rear end than switching frames, at least for most people. But... its your car.

Good luck.

A "Frame swap" could also be called a "Money swap", "Time swap", or "work swap". All you do is "swap" money you would spend on the original frame, time spent on the original or work spent on the original and putting that same money, time and work into making a frame SORT OF fit a car it wasn't designed for.

It saves you NO money, NO time, and NO work!

Spend the time to find an original frame if you need it modify it to fit your needs with an IRS kit or what ever. But don't spend a bunch of money, time and work to put in the wrong frame!
