4100 carb

HI bad bob here I just got hold of a 4100 hipo model 4v carb everything looked good until I got to the fuel inlet port where the filter threads in, their stripped. Does anyone know of a permanent fix for this or am I just out of luck! THANKS B.B.

Is there enough material left to chase with a tap? If not, HELI-COIL it.
