Since its a 3/4 ton truck to begin with then nothing more than a good turbo 400 trans behind it and all the reg brackets/pulleys and exhaust for a BBC... BTW that is a really good block to build on... Its the 4 bolt main version and is the std. deck according to Mortec.com

Oops it is a tall deck block...

i was just at motec.com and it is a tall deck that is what the t is for after the 427,thats what the key at the bottom of the page says.this is a 10.200'' deck height.but it is a 4 bolt main.thats a truck block all tall deck are,the heads will have castings that say truck, pass,or hi perf.that will be stamped on the head.make sure you use the correct intake with the correct head.
that is a great block to make a lot of torque,a good stump puller if you know what i mean.

Yep he is right (my bad might be the 12-16 hour days...? ) its a tall deck block but still a good platform to use... Goobs of torque to be made which works real good with the extra weight of a 3/4 ton truck...

Sorry did not notice the "T" note at the bottom as I was thinking of the pad numbers which if it has a T in it then it was just known as a truck block which could be either deck height...
