sure you can by using the 427 crank, 427 balancer and flywheel/flexplate, and 427 pistons. do not use the 454 balancer and flywheel/flexplate on the 427 as they are external balance and the 427 is internal.
Yea, it can be done verily easily, just like you said, but I have to question why... Cubic inches is king. If you have a 454 why hobble it by reducing the cubes? Build a 30 over 4.25 stroke 454 (489 cu. in.) and put some 427 stickers on the rocker covers... :mwink:
Much more sensible if you ask me...
