427 gmc c-6500
ok maybe some of you guys out there know the answer i'm lookin for cause i can't seem to find it on any websites yet....... any ways have a 1988 gmc c-6500 with a 427 in it... i'm lookin for what the timing needs to be set at.... i can play by ear but it still wants to disel when i turn it off and sometimes it disels enough it will actually reverse the direction of the motor... any help is greatly appreicated

Also try changing brands of gas,My 85 would diesel on one stations, but not on another.
