Larry,you sweet talker.Ford was a little later than the others in stamping serial #'s, but by 1969 it was pretty standard. The serial # (the chassis VIN) should be stamped on the drivers side rear of the block just below the head om a raised rectangular pad. It is coarse cast and you sometimes have to look closely in order to see it,but with a mirror and a light and sometimes a piece of chalk or crayon to help highlight it, you can make it out. I have seen the #'s on other machined pads over the years,but I think those were the exception.
