428FE or 462FE horsepower numbers

Ok I am aquiring a early 70's 428 FE from a F series pickup truck. The plan is a tripower intake with aftermarket heads (Edelbrock),cam, and headers. What kind of power should I expect. I want over 500+ HP and equal torq. I was also wondering if I needed to go with the stroker kit to get 462ci? It will go in a 30 Model A and I want to lift the front tires . I know there is no replacement for displacement but budget rules all. Thanks for any and all help.

My best advice is....don't do anything until you talk to Barry Rabotnick at Survival Motorsports....

Fe horsepower

The retired director of Ford Racing Is getting 800 to 900 HP out of his 427 Cobra, There are a few U tube video's of his winning the optima Battery street challenge. Two old gray haired guy's beating all the young kid's. One way to spend their social security checks. !!

Thats awsome but a 427 is just to much for me. Not real streetable. My father raced them in the late 70's and early 80's till they changed the rules.
