1969 roadrunner nut needs help

I have a mint 69roadrunner,my brother brought it new in 69,died in war 6 months latter.24000 miles on it,its mint.440 six pack.4 speed.drive it once in a while.I take it to the track ever summer.mid 12s.I have 20,000.I would like to get it into the 9s.is this a dream,can any one give me some good advice. I don,t want to cut my car up.my brother was a roadrunner nut.I do have a driffrent 440.came out of 70 roadrunner.I know he would have try his best.please help.I just want to have the badest runner on the road

are you serious...??????? if you are than that must power is pretty good chore...do you plan on nitrous or a blower?? either way i would stroke it to at least a 500ci...hole you have deep pockets //plan on spending big bucks on it, plus big money on the rear -tranny to hold it. but get the compresion to the moon..big soild roller cam...killer aftermarket heads big carb and intake than through a 300 shot of nitrous on it..

Frankie Start small and work up. If you could afford to build this engine on the first go round, there would not be much more room to improve. I would shoot for 500 HP and you might end up at 400 HP. Don't forget that big block Chrysler engines get expensive very fast. Start small and build on that

850 to 900 Horsepower is a LOT of power.....for a 440 to produce.
You will need a Big HEMI.....to get there... IMHO.....and a bigger pocketbook.
