Depends on what engine specs you used (cam, cr, ect).

Low performance 454's are very weak from the factory. 275 hp and 350 ft-lb can be very possible. However, these engine's come alive with some simple bolt-ons.

A 7.5:1 cr 454 with a mild rv cam (202/210 at 0.050"), a set of headers, 4bbl carb, and 049 or 781 heads should make 340 hp at 4500 rpm and 475 ft-lbs at 3000 rpm.

The block is a gen v block so im limited to heads. I was told by the guy i bought the engine from said "that any head will work from a 454". But i did some research and so as of right now im stuck with stock heads.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can use gen iv heads on a gen v engine. But it doesn't matter. A mild cam, headers, dual plane 4bbl intake, and 4bbl carb will make nice gains even with stock gen v heads. Try that with your dyno software.

I have to get alternator brackets, power steering bracket, and pump. Does all 454 brackets fit any year? the engine is a 91-95 crate engine.
