oil pan already changed. Yes, different bolt hols are for the 6 cylinder, not my issue. The issue, I have found at 2 in the morning, is that there are 3 different style of motor mounts; they differ in width, I happened to get the ones that are a little narrow for my supports. So I am going to autozone this morning to see the measurements of 409 mounts........I will let you know, but basically, the width on the mount(inside dimension), should be 2 5/8 in. And they should be the 'tall' mounts for the big block.
So I think...............(that seems to be part of the problem)

Update; Autozone's part numbers are not consistent with what's in the boxes!
so I ended up with 1965 impala 409 mounts that are 1/4 in too wide for supports, but will work, I think. They need to be shimmed alittle, so I will hunt down spacers, I have two, I believe I will need two more.
