454 crate motor

I was on the summit website checking out this 454 #88890530 its a 1994-1995 enginefor my 69 chevelle. Will original parts like p/s pump, alternator brackets and chrome valve covers fit?

Nada shows up for me using that #.

The '91-'95 BBC engines were the Gen 5 version- not the best foundation for a performance build. Not that it can't be done, mind you, but for a 454 build, the Mark IV or the Gen 6 ('96-up) would be my choice. Google the Gen 5 for more details on it.

Your '69 parts will fit the later engine. The only problem might come in if you were to use a reverse rotation water pump w/an early V-belt set-up, or if you used a long water pump where a short pump was needed.
