454 Gen V Valve Settings
I just bought a boat and am currently changing a couple of things the previous owner did to the 454 GEN V motor. It allready had a comp cam pt# 11-236-4 with matching lifters and springs, and trw forged pistons expected compression ratio of 8.75:1, all with about 50 hours. I am having the heads redone with 2.25 severe duty malory valves and extreme duty inconel 1.880 exhaust valves. The stock setup was non adjustable and want to put adjustable aluminum roller rockers and was wondering what would be the proper way to adjust the valves. Also what kind of horsepower can I expect out of this setup with the port injected mercruiser fuel injection.
